“All in all, it was a never-to-be-forgotten summer — one of those summers which come seldom into any life, but leave a rich heritage of beautiful memories in their going — one of those summers which, in a fortunate combination of delightful weather, delightful friends and delightful doing, come as near to perfection as anything can come in this world.”

I am blessed to have experienced such a summer. The incidents which caused sadness or concern only highlight the moments of joy and delight. I hope you have also enjoyed a delightful summer in spite of the challenges you have been facing. Hopefully, it isn’t over yet!

    • Yes, summer is always good–despite the dealings with “life” 🙂 I greatly enjoy the slower pace and the ability to linger–as it seems everyone slows down and takes things more in stride. And yes, we still have some time remaining as the thermometer is working upward…September may prove to be warmer than August!!
