Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice, be gracious to me and answer me.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.”

Julie, when I read this I prayed that today you will not be in despair about the situation with your father – that somehow there will be a breakthrough there. I also thought of the situation in the Ukraine and pray that there will be a peaceful resolution for the people there. Blessings and prayers.

    • Oh thank you Lynda—I’m ok—just having a bit of a blue day—but really also like the Gandhi quote as it just seems so appropriate for that of the current events of this world—
Hugs and blessings to you this day—
      Julie

As it turns out I really need the Gandhi quote today as our Canadian government is cutting funding, not only to prison chaplains and community chaplains for ex-offenders but also to Circles of Support and Accountability. My heart is very heavy for I am involved in this type of ministry and am aware of the need. Let us pray today and always for the marginalized in our society and for those who have the power and ability to provide what is needed. Blessings.

    Sending love your way….from Jenna

    • Thanks Jenna–I’m good, it’s just a cold grey day and I suppose I’ve been a bit blah—yet I really like the Gandhi quote and felt it seemd so appropriate for the current events in the news—Happy Monday to you!!
Hope you break through on the writers block—I feel the same way at times—some days it all comes easily, other days, not so much 🙂

Hang in the sweet Cookie, all is well with our souls and God is still in control of EVERTYTHING!!!! In my devotional I read the other night that worry is a form of disobedience and I’d never thought of it that way. I’ve also heard it said that worrying if praying for what you don’t want to happen. So wash those blues away, my friend, God is good and you are His. Love, Natalie 🙂
