Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day.
Matthew 6:34

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.
Mother Teresa

Do you hear me?

Do you see me?

Do you know me?

In the darkness of an aching heart
the frustration rises to a deafening level.

Silence answers

Day after day,
month after month,
year after year
a one way conversation plays out

Silence answers

Silence answers

On my knees, in the silence, I cry out to You
Through my tears, in the silence, I implore You
In the darkness, through the silence, I need You

A single word is heard to drift along an evening breeze. . .

Beloved. . .”

Thank you Julie. Yesterday brought a fair bit of anxiety never mind tomorrow! Nothing like what you have been going through but enough to cause upset. But today the sun is shining and it is unseasonably warm. I always feel blessed when the sun shines. Blessings, David

May you always know that you are the beloved daughter of God – even when you feel tossed about by life, remember whose you are! Blessings and prayers.

    • Thank you Lynda—there are so many fronts in my little world right now I would love for God to perhaps not be so “quiet” over. . .but no one ever said I was the one calling the shots now did they 😉
Thank you for the loving reminder

My heart reaches out to you as I can feel your pain and anguish through your words. I don’t know what is going on in your life but send my loving thoughts so you know your friends are with you. Love Jenna

    • Hi Jenna–between my Dad and step mom, worrying about my own son—I feel like a gumby doll being stretched emotionally every which-a-way!!
Just get me a sunny day, as it’s been raining incessantly, and I’ll be in a much better place!
I appreciate your concern Jenna—I need to spend more of my knees in prayer rather than all this fretting and worrying, that’s for sure!!
I hope all is well with you and your family—
      Hugs my dear friend—Julie
