You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.

Despite the fact that you always think you know where you’re going. . .chances are, life will intervene—-
Thought for the day. . .always watch your step. . .
Good thought for the day Julie. Have to try to remember that, when life does intervene, God still allowed that too.
Julie, I spent the weekend on retreat; it was supposed to be silent but my roommate needed my listening ear – God gave me the energy that was needed. The interesting thing is your quote because the topic for the weekend was how our imperfections can lead us to God. Absolutely excellent weekend! Blessings to you and your family – I kept your family in my prayers while on retreat.
Thank you Lynda—I’m glad it was a good retreat—we’re home—it was a quick weekend trip—but always good for the spirits and soul 🙂
Oh life intervenes for sure, and sometimes at the most unlikely times. But the Lord always has a plan and a reason for such. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤
