God’s hand

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air,
and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?
In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.
Does not the ear test words as the tongue tastes food?
Is not wisdom found among the aged?
Does not long life bring understanding?
To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.”

Job 12: 7-13

Such a spectacular display of seasonal beauty…
Is it to be written off as merely the waxing and waning of chlorophyll, pigmentation, seasonal changes, light diminishing, temperatures falling, moons risings, suns setting, dying, sloughing and the simple passage of time…
or…
Is there more to this pretty picture….

Absolutely beautiful photo! The trees seem to go into eternity and the colours are so splendid. Autumn is my time of year! I hope you had a good time away.

    • well, yes and know—we had an issue with the chimney of the cabin backing up sending ash and smoke into the cabin—the “floo”/ damper was wide open but a terrible wind storm kicked up and created a down draft —so we came home a day early—which was actually fortuitous as Dad and Gloria unbeknownst to anyone as they did not call, were sitting in the ER…I raced over as soon as I got home and could get them on the phone…
She fell, again, vomited so it scared dad who did what he was suppose to, pushed his alert button.
Long story short she’s still in the hospital–but she wasnt hurt in the fall, but she had gotten way dehydrated as she as been overdosing on laxatives–intentionally—they’ve run all sort of tests and now suspect maybe colitis or an infection….
so I’ve been in and out of Dads…long story…but hopefully we’ll get some good change out of all of this…

Julie, how wonderful that your dad thought to push his alert button. Now that this has occurred perhaps there will be some change! Prayers that better circumstances will result!!

  3. I think scenes like this and beautiful sunsets are when God, the artist, sits down to paint. The trees or the sky are his canvas.

  4. Gorgeous photos! We’ve yet to see such sights. Love, N 🙂 ❤
