“I know paradise has many gates, just as hell does.
One has to learn to distinguish between them, or one is lost.”
Henning Mankell
(Watercolor 30A, Santa Rosa, Fl / Julie Cook / 2016)
Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him;

Beachy keen! 👍❤️
Love the Mankel quote, and LOVE the beach–though I can’t get there much anymore. I found you through Denise’s blog–God bless you abundantly!!
Thank you for your kind words!!
Most welcome!
Beautiful watercolours! God has given you many gifts Julie. Thank you for sharing them!!
Actually….they aren’t watercolor paintings–they are photos of the Watercolor Beach Resort in Santa Rosa Beach, FL 🙂 —I wish I did paint them but I merely shot pictures of the ensuing tropical storm Colin 🙂 as it’s no day at the beach in a deluge of rain :)—-but I think they call that liquid sunshine 🙂
Julie, I just saw a news bit regarding storm “Colin”–I pray that you’re safe.
Thank you Ziona for your concern—we have been wet, but the storm has skirted our area—driving home however may prove a different story tomorrow 🙂
Oooh boy, I’ll keep the prayers goin’! The weather’s been so odd–my cousin in TX had flood damage; and in my area (Pac NW) this spring, we had record-breaking heat…I don’t do HOT well (hoping for a cool down later this week) 🙂 Blessings to you!
