Today may we join together as a Nation in prayer for the the men and women who dedicate as well as sacrifice their lives to protecting of our lives…each and every day.
May we hold the families of the fallen offices in Dallas, as well as all those other officers who have been attacked, ambushed and murdered across this country, in our hearts.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,
be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan
and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.
Prayer to St Michael, the patron saint of Police Officers.
Julie, I’m on a pilgrimage to Cyprus, Malta and Rome following in the Footsteps of Paul. This morning at Mass we prayed for those killed in Dallas and for the violence that occurred. Please know that we Canadians mourn with you whether we are at home or abroad. Blessings and prayers.
Such beautiful words Lynda—we are bound by our humanity as well as our baptism as brothers and sisters in Christ.
and what a marvelous adventure.
If you are still in Rome or will be returning, a marvelous restaurant on the Borgo Pio right near the Vatican—the touristy street—yet toward the end of the street, near the gate, is a marvelous restaurant not touristy food fare but really really good, Il Papalino—ask for Antonio as a waiter—
Caio caio and very safe travel Lynda
Thanks Julie. Still in Cyprus, then Malta and then Rome. Will keep the restaurant in mind.
Amen and amen! 🙂 ❤
