“I will go anywhere and do anything in order to communicate the love of Jesus
to those who do not know Him or have forgotten Him.”
St. Frances Xavier Cabrini
(new feet made for walking and running / Julie Cook / 2018)
Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?
The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
Psalm 15:1-2
(I’m currently playing mother to the rescue, aka grandmother come to town.
Not certain when I’ll get back home…to truly being on top of things here in blogland— so
I apologize for being MIA and AWOL…however, I think I am away with a purpose…
so maybe not so much AWOL as just away–walking new territory…)
Enjoy that new grandbaby and the joy of being a grandma. You will be an amazing influence on that child. God’s blessings to all of you.
Love those little feet…😊😊😊
The baby-feet are awesome, being a grandma must be awesome because grandmas ARE awesome, so just enjoy every moment of it, and we’ll be here when you return.
Thank You David—I loved my grandmothers—each were good examples in a variety of differing ways—I hope to be the same 🙂
I have no doubt you shall be. : )
Life doesn’t get any better than this!!! Blessings to all, Moppie!
no it doesn’t grandma phyllie
No need for any apologies, dear Julie. Quite frankly, I’ve been amazed that you have been posting. Go, therefore, and spoil that grandbaby! Do not think a second thought about us. We’ll be waiting for all your wonderful stories when you return! Love those baby prints! Love you! ❤ ❤
Thank you Lynn–it is a very good thing 🙂
Enjoy. Soon it will be my turn
Yep and it’s really a good thing— kind of puts life in the true proper perspective
Well you know technically it’s not my first but I’m never going to have with my granddaughter my first granddaughter what I hope I’m going to have with this one
I know and so I think you have different filters now in which you view the priorities of life— maybe grandparenthood is the redo we parents
I didn’t get finished— lack of sleep— grandparenthood is the redo us parents are granted to try and get things right
I agree. God gave me some redos for sure. I’ts not unusual for kids to be closer to one set of grandparent though, at all. I have home court advantage on this one LOL. She’s mine! I’m so excited I feel like I will bust. I have already bought Dr Seuss books to read.
No need to apologize Julie, you take as much time as you need to be with your new baby grandchild!
thanks Tricia 🙂

I’ll text more pics—no sleep last night for anyone last night..not a wink…but oddly for Brenton…hummmmm
Oh great love pics! I hope you get more sleep tonight❣️😘
Enjoy being a grandma. Enjoy being there. My eldest grandchild turned 20 a few weeks ago. Wow, that’s the first time I have seen that number in this context. Time flies by, so enjoy.
They do grow up so fast!
Man this brought back so many memories of our own young ones just only a few years ago! Congratulations again!!!!
You blink and they’re graduating high school and getting married
Wow…thanks for that reminder for me since I’m currently parents of pre-school young ones
😊 it’s hard for me thinking I’m no longer just the mom— now the grandma 🙂
You went from watching Batman and X-men to watching him become a father!
And do you know that while I’ve been here, I had to watch Thor 3 🙄
lol
Looks like a more rewarding, useful task.
It is Tom— this first week with our new addition has been exhausting but definitely rewarding-I’ve been there for a week- came home yesterday afternoon to wash and trade out clothes and will be heading back to Atlanta shortly— I’ve fallen off the radar with the blog— posting and or reading but hope to get back in the groove soon once I get everyone settled 😍
Do what you love. That is what God made for.
