life’s separation

“Life can only be understood backwards;
but it must be lived forwards.”

Søren Kierkegaard

“The accidents of life separate us from our dearest friends,
but let us not despair.
God is like a looking glass in which souls see each other.
The more we are united to Him by love,
the nearer we are to those who belong to Him.”

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

    In reference to life’s separations, it has been a sadness for me to have my daughter and family move across the province where visits have to be planned and scheduled and involve a flight; however, my dear granddaughter has flown to visit for a week and I’m ever so grateful for this opportunity to be with her! Blessings to you and your family Julie.

    Ever notice how painters are inspired to paint skies but some stupidly deny the One who inspires? That’s a disconnect if ever there was one.

    Talk about a separation from reality.
