“To argue that God is “trying His best” to save all mankind,
but that the majority of men will not let Him save them,
is to insist that the will of the Creator is impotent,
and that the will of the creature is omnipotent.”
Arthur W. Pink, The Sovereignty of God
(Le Mont-Saint-Michel / Normandy, France / Julie Cook / 2018)
“Now, may our God be our hope.
He Who made all things is better than all things.
He Who made all beautiful things is more beautiful than all of them.
He Who made all mighty things is more mighty than all of them.
He Who made all great things is greater than all of them.
Learn to love the Creator in His creature, and the maker in what He has made.”
Saint Augustine, p. 136

Pictures are awesome Julia. Never seen this Church before. Yes, I know, I certainly don’t want a God is who the same size or smaller than me. How pitiful and defeating is that. Thank you for your post 😊
Thanks Denise— do look up the history of the church— it’s really amazing— at high tide it is a small island totally surrounded by the sea
Wow! Thank you Julia 💕
Fantastic photo. I’m so glad you’re home safely. Missed you!!
Missed you as well— and tending to the mayor who has another viral infection 😷😖
It seems those wee ones are always catching some bug or another. Just look at it this way. She’s building up a ton of immunities.
That’s what I keep telling her parents 😎
Where is this church? Beautiful!!
Off the coast of Normandy, France— on a tiny rock of an island yet when the tide is out— accesses easily— the newly built causeway also now hops modern day visitors and pilgrims
Amazing!! This looks like a fantastic place to see! And so unique and picturesque to boot!!!!
almost other worldly Jeff—definitely harkens to a time long ago…
