Complications today on several fronts have left us all unsettled…all
but the Mayor naturally.
He will remain for several more days barring any further worries…
And a surgery down the road in about 6 months is in his future…
But we give thanks for the bountiful blessings we have received thus far…
As in after nearly 30 hours, I finally got to hold my first and only grandson…
The Mayor is just too busy to be bothered with worry.

Perfect bundle of blessing. Oh that we could have the peace of the Mayor. Whatever is going on Mom and Dad will handle it. Julie, whatever it is the Father will handle it. I pray that needs will be met – good medical attention, with minimum stress financially and physically. And a grasp on the Spirit of God as He surrounds you and your family.

He’s so much more fragile than Autumn was when she was born— not that she wasn’t small and helpless, he’s just not as tenacious— Abby says he’s like a tiny old soul. He’s even smaller than Autumn was— so I suppose we will have a force to be reckoned with along with one who is laid back— which will be good— two wild ones would kill me 😉
Wow thanks for this update. I feel babies who seem weaker in the beginning sometimes act like they have to make up for their baby days later on….
I agree— plus he has to keep with that sister who is a force to reckoned with 😛

Thank you my friend— the tests came back clear this morning so they’ve gone to finally bring him home— it was hard on them coming in last evening empty handed!
He will have surgery in about 6 mos so for now we simply love and watch!

Julie I stopped back by to see if there was any change and I just read that he will be going home…that is a blessing. I will keep you all in my prayers. (My first comment didn’t go through evidently but do know I am thinking of you all.)
Thank you Karen— I’m typing with one hand as I hold this wee one in the other— he is so tiny and frail— has a bit of catching up to do with his boss the mayor but there will come a time he out paces her 🤗

Julie, prayers continue. I remember when my grandson was born three months prematurely. It was certainly a time for concern and he was in hospital for months. He is now a very healthy and bright almost ten year old! God is good.
thank you, Lynda—he’s home but there are still some issues…he is so different from Autumn. She was / is tenacious. James is proving more delicate and fragile.
Dear Julie, I am just now learning of the delivery of your grandson. This brings back memories from last year when our great-granddaughter spent a month in NICU and did not come home. Praises for the Lord’s mercy for you and your family and prayers for continued improvement. The Lord is good. You are blessed. Enjoy~~~~~~

My progeny includes two pairs of twins, and all four of them spent a little time in neonatal care due to low birthweight and bilirubin issues. I’m glad to know that James has pulled through. He is in good hands. Blessings to every member of the family. J.
