we interrupt this regularly scheduled program….

It was a very long day with the Mayor and the Sheriff…
Or more like it was a very long drive home at night from spending the day
with the Mayor and her posse…
Word to the wise, do not drive to, in or through Atlanta at any time day or night!!!

Friday night at 9PM was a solid constant stream of red brake lights the entire drive home…
throw in several blue flashing lights…
A normal one hour drive was a delightful stop and go 2-hour headache.

However, your normal programming will return tomorrow…

Our Mayor was feeling quite pretty as she was having her hair washed…

( Julie Cook /2019)

I feel pretty
Oh, so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and bright!
And I pity
Any girl who isn’t me tonight

(West Side Story)

Meanwhile…the Sheriff dozes…

(the tired sheriff / Julie Cook / 2019)

In the jungle, the mighty jungle
The lion sleeps tonight
In the jungle the quiet jungle
The lion sleeps tonight

The Tokens

They ate both adorable. The sheriff is flexing his muscles and while the sheriff primos. I love those tweet and am enjoying watching them grow. You and Gregory are saints to be such a big part of their lives.

They are both growing and looking gooood. One memory from driving that direction from Atlanta. We were on our way to Mississippi from SC to visit my parents. As we climbed the hill just past Six Flags, a bush hog threw a rock. It made a tiny chip on the outside of the windshield, but it shattered the passenger’s side on the inside. My wife was wearing shorts and she was sprayed with broken glass. We drove to a gas station at the next exit. We had a Rainbow machine at the time. I asked for an electrical outlet, plugged in the Rainbow and used it to vacuum the glass shards off my wife’s legs and the floor, etc. She was afraid to move as it might make matters worse. With the broken glass gone, we went in the store to buy antiseptic cream and band aids for the larger cuts. So many memories that are not that good revolving around driving through Atlanta…
