“With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come.”
What are the types of things that happen to us in a year’s time?
What sorts of things take place to and or around us during the course of a year?
In my world, there were milestones, fieldstones, capstones and stone weights.
The greatest being a baby turned one as another baby came into the world.
And there were, for this small family of ours…
trips to an ocean
trips to the mountains
trips to the city
multiple ER trips
multiple Urgent Care trips
found birth parents
lost birth parents
new decades of life
And so here is to reflections…
May there be many more… that both come and go, in the next decade of living…
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to
completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6 ESV

Thank my friend, just a few little thoughts at turning 60 🥳
This is a list. It may or may not be comprehensive. A lot is stuff we all suffer with. God promises everything to work for THE good, and with some of it, you wonder how. My post on Thursday afternoon is kind of similar in that regard. Know that I pray for you and my other friends in the blogosphere.
It is a list— and as I started writing I realized it could have kept growing— turning 60 today made me reflective 🥳
Happy birthday. If you don’t feel happy about it, it’s just a number.
I’m happy— it’s just crazy thinking I’m 60 and Gregory is 70!
And thinking back over the year is even crazier!
Praying for you
