“They are illusions
They are not the solutions they promised to be
The answer was here all the time
I love you and hope you love me
Don’t cry for me Argentina
The truth is I never left you
All through my wild days
My mad existence
I kept my promise
Don’t keep your distance
(lyrics, Don’t cry for me Argentina)
“Abortion happens, it’s a fact,” Fernández said in his first annual address to Congress.
“The state must protect its citizens in general and women in particular,” he added.
“Society in the 21st century needs to respect the individual choice of its members
to freely decide about their bodies.”
So read the opening to an article I caught yesterday morning.
An article that focused on a speech given by the President of Argentina, Alberto Fernández.
There was a flippant remark, “abortion happens” followed by
“it’s the state’s responsibility to protect”…
So my question is…
Who protects an unborn baby?
Obviously not the state.
The article continued…
If the bill passes, the country with a population of 45 million will become the largest nation
in Latin America to do so, joining Cuba, Uruguay, and Guyana.
The culture of death advances,” Monsenor Jorge Eduardo Scheinig, an archbishop,
said in a recorded message.
“We need to pray so that in Argentina, the yes to life is stronger than death.”
Might I add this is the nation from which Pope Francis hails…

If you care about the unborn child…we must continue to pray— speaking both up and out!

There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.
Proverbs 6:16-19

I was a little late listening to Quantum, having listened yesterday. David Robertson had this thing about a man who was on trial in England, I believe, for not accepting transgender. He stated that his arresting officer told him that some female brain got excited in the womb and pushed some body parts out that shouldn’t have been there. The court decided in favor of the business owner and against the police – what Robertson thinks is a push back on the transgender issue. But last night it hit me. The liberals can think that a female brain in the womb can have independent thought to push out body parts, but killing the unborn is okay. Yet, another contradiction in their thinking. And it seems the majority listen to these insane contradictions and they silence us. The world has truly gone mad, mad, mad, mad.
Sadly Mark, I have little to no time to listen to or read much from David’s blogs let alone Gavin Ashenden—of which I hate missing out on…but between racing back and forth to Atlanta and with Gregory being retired and home most of the day, there is very little “study” time—
But that is about the most stupid thing I think I’ve read heard—a fetus’s female brain did what!!!??
And the fact that there are those who actually buy into such rubbish is perhaps even more troubling than the science fiction assertion. Oh our blogging buddy IB needs to read that tale…her biology nerves would be sorely tested 🙂
I think I’ve heard it all.
Yep, kill um all, but do know they are powerful objects of mind over body control….
who would think I would live in such a nutty time that only grows tragically nuttier by the minute!
Amen to that.
Sad…sad to see abortion still being advance in another country
A perfect Proverb to share regarding this tragic subject. Hugs to you Julie for always defending such an important topic – LIFE – and the protection of it- from womb to tomb.
