“By beginning a diary, I was already conceding that life would be more bearable
if I looked at it as an adventure and a tale.
I was telling myself the story of a life,
and this transmutes into an adventure the things which can shatter you.”
Anaïs Nin

Captain’s log:
It is now day two of the nationally imposed isolation of social distancing…
aka, stuck in the house with the ones you love…
Question: When stuck in the house with the ones you love for upwards of two weeks
or dare they say, even longer…
how long will they remain the ones you love?
Captian’s log to be continued…
My wife does not handle being cooped up well, and that puts it lightly. She had just bought groceries on Sunday, and then when she finds out they will be cooped up, she runs to the store to buy more. So, we had a long distance argument. Her excuse was that, with the president’s edict, they had nothing for lunch – but it was the start of Spring Break and they already knew everyone was going to be home for the next two weeks anyway.
So, just saying that you can get on each other’s nerves and not be trapped in the same house…
That is not encouraging Mark 😝
Hey, some days, you encourage others. Other days you need encouraging. My wife’s shopping spree could be blamed solely on her wanderlust and the president telling her that she had to stay home.
Ah the headstrong one 🥳
The Mayor looks so much like her grandma!! By the end of the isolation we will still love our loved ones but we may not like them as much! 🙂
😂🤣
Speaking of “bearable” is your area participating in the bear-hunt? I wondered if the Mayor and Sheriff had spied any of the own?
I saw that–and told my daughter-n-law but I don’t think our little town is hosting a bear hunt unfortunately.
Have you seen or heard that folks are putting their Christmas light all back up as a sign of hope?
Well, we know that many never took them down in the first place and I loath the one time of year I schlep them out of storage and up on the house—I think I’ll think of my own twist…I’ll keep you posted 🙂
