We’ve spent weeks purging and sorting.
And thus the BIG sale is today!
But…
What is most important today is that we need to think of and offer
our prayers for The Frist Family as they now battle COVID 19.
I am both incensed and angry that there are many Americans who are wishing ill
of the President and his wife…that there are people who are actually gleefully
hoping for a fellow human being to not only succumb to illness but to actually die.
When does the hope of death become the rallying cry of any advanced society?
We have become an abysmal lot when we have lost our humanness.
I would normally note that we are an abysmal society, but to use the
word society would be too gracious.
A society does not wish for the death of others but rather it bans together
working toward the betterment of the whole.
So I offer my prayers for healing and restored health for our President
and the First Lady.
I pray for our Nation…I pray that it can learn, or perhaps re-learn, what it means
to be a cohesive body that is concerned for each member of her whole.
I pray that she may regain her love for each neighbor.
I pray for physical healing as well as collective healing.
May God have mercy on the United States.
And may the United States remember what mercy is all about.
But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
It is sinfully shameful and scary all at the same time.
When my wife and I were out grocery shopping yesterday, she mentioned that many Dems were praying for Trump to die. I thought that odd. It is not odd that people who have no concept of the attributes of a God that they do not believe in would think God would hear such a vile prayer. But odd that these people are vehement in getting rid of God in our country, but turn to Him for their evil purposes, as if God could be evil. We do live in a crazy world. Thank you for posting this. I have been on the presidential prayer team for over 19 years, as it was founded within a week or so after 9/11, so I have heard about this for about the same length of time as Trump’s tweet.
I heard a while ago that Twitter is not accepting more of these tweets. So your prayers might be helping. Of course, Twitter was sort of late on the draw but something got their attention. I saw a tread on FB yesterday that started of sort of tame but bad wishes to the President. As others responded, the language from said “starter” progressed to the point that the comment became bold print, hateful, vulgar wishes for the worst possible results. Things can sure downgrade much fast than they can upgrade. I’ve never known a devil who revealed himself first then became “tamer.” They always start tame then degrade to vile.
I am more concerned about the condition of people’s hearts than I am about the President’s health. Keep those prayers coming, but I believe he will be just fine. I’m not so sure about some of those death wishers. Sheesh…
Praying for the garage sale! I’ve been wanting to have one myself, but our local authorities want masks and hand sanitizer and signage, and before you know it, i just wasn’t in the mood anymore.
Agreed that’s why I wanted to turn things around a bit trying to refocus our thoughts— prayers offered for others rather than vitriol ugliness
Yard sale…but more importantly, prayers

Tragically, the nation has forgotten that united we stand, divided we fall.
Until human beings remember that we are all one, that we are all created by God, we will not be able to bring the world together. We will never all think alike but we can have respect for others and not wish anyone harm. Prayers for your President and for your country at this very important time.
Thank you Lynda— this hate-filled divisiveness is getting to be more than I can bear!
It was very disturbing to read the ill-will being spread so easily….😒
It is beyond my soul as to where folks in this nation have fallen
Yes, indeed.
