Hope and Joy Comes On Another Cold Morning

“For as the rain and the snow come
down from heaven,
And do not return there without watering the earth,
And making it bear and sprout,
And furnishing seed to the sower and
bread to the eater;
So shall My word be which goes forth
from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter,
for which I sent it.
For you will go out with joy,
And be led forth with peace;
The mountains and the hills will break
forth into shouts of joy before you,
And all the trees of the field will clap
their hands.”
Isaiah 55:20-12

Seeking a Safe Harbor

How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God; Whom made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Who keeps faith forever. Psalm 146:5-6
This picture was taken while visiting Ucluelet, Vancouver Island. Ucluelet means “people of the safe harbor”.
May we remember today, and everyday, that we are God’s adopted children, bound by the the blood of the Lamb, his only son, Jesus Christ– therefore we have found our safe harbor in God’s unending love, grace and mercy.
