Or might there be something more like a someone who is on your mind
rather than a something…?
as in the question should be…who is actually on your mind?
And thus might this thought of the something or someone who is
on your mind…be that an it or a they…are they or it most likely found
‘in’ your mind?
And if that thought of something or someone is indeed in your mind…
is it therefore not possible that the said something or someone is actually inside
your heart…and not merely in or on your mind?
And thus if the said thought of this something or someone is therefore on your mind,
in your mind as well as in your heart…
is this something or someone therefore not simply a part of you?
I thought so…

My wife recently called a friend. They had met at the dialysis center and then the lady switched days, so my wife had not talked in a while. When the woman answered, she said that she was being prepped for surgery and the phone call had delayed the prep. My wife prayed with her, and the friend felt better. The friend is all alone in the Pittsburgh area, outliving friends and family. She had a bowel blockage and she now has a colostomy until the surgery heals, but my wife has had that happen numerous times. She gets an overpowering feeling to call someone and that person is in need of prayer at that moment. Yes, they are in your head and heart. And with Jesus there also, it makes the communication a lot easier.
