“He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness.
We must have felt what it is to die, Morrel,
that we may appreciate the enjoyments of life.
Live, then, and be happy, beloved children of my heart, and never forget,
that until the day when God will deign to reveal the future to man,
all human wisdom is contained in these two words,
‘Wait and hope.’

“The way Jesus shows you is not easy.
Rather, it is like a path winding up a mountain.
Do not lose heart!
The steeper the road,
the faster it rises toward ever wider horizons!”
Pope John Paul II
And what a wonderful view it is when we reach the summit! Hugs to you for providing the perfect photo to remind us of this!
That it is Dawn…as we are still climbing 🙂
So beautiful, dear Julie! I especially love Pope John Paul II’s words. How wonderful it is to climb with Jesus! ❤ and huge hugs!!
John Paul has always been a hero of mine…ever since I watched this Polish priest step out onto the balcony at St Peter’s to become a pope
